  1. Prior to aspell-0.50.3-8, the aspell(1) manpage provided an erroneous
  2. example of the usage of the "lang" option.  The example should have
  3. read:

  5.   For example the following line will set the default language to
  6.   German:
  7.  
  8.   lang de
  9.  
  10. Alternatively, you may specify the dictionary to use directly by using
  11. the "master" option.  To select the German dictionary this way:
  12.  
  13.   master german
  14.  
  15. Using the "master" option will override any "lang" settings.  Unless you
  16. know specifically which dictionary you wish to use, you should select
  17. dictionaries using "lang" rather than "master".
